Coldplay to play Newcastle winter charity show

The BBC has reported that Coldplay is to play a secret gig in December for charity. The gig, to highlight homelessness will take place on the 20^th of December, according to sources.

Ant and Dec, local to Newcastle are rumoured to be lined up to compere the event, with a choir of the homeless as main support.

Proceeds of ticket sales will go to the charity, Crisis – an organisation which helps homeless people.  Crisis is responsible for Crisis Skylight Training and Employment Centre, who offer workshops and training to local people to help them achieve and succeed in life.

The venue of the show will remain a secret for all who don’t have a ticket. Tickets will go on sale at 2:00 on the 2^nd of November.
